23rd Annual Piedmont Avenue Halloween Celebration

Join the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association on Saturday, October 31 for the most family friendly Halloween celebration in Oakland!

9:45am	FREE cartoons at the Piedmont Theater
10:15am	Special Storytime at the Piedmont Avenue Branch Library for the really young members of the neighborhood
11:00am	Halloween Parade (meet at Montell and Piedmont Avenue) Parade Marshals : City Council President Jane Brunner; Maria Barra-Gibson, Aide to Councilmember Jane Brunner; Jim Ryugo, City of Oakland; Judy DeVries, Kaiser; Brian Lin, NBBJ Also participating: Cartwheelers from Kids-In-Motion Stiltwalkers from Prescott Circus and Kinetic Arts Center and of course, the GREATJim the Bagpiper
Following the parade: Trick-or-Treating on the Avenue at Candy Station Merchants
11:30am to 2:30pm	Music on the Avenue Theo's Jazzitope — Key Route Plaza (41st and Piedmont Avenue) Utah Girl and Amy McClain — Piedmont Plaza ( Piedmont Avenue and Linda) Boy in the Bubble and Satish Pillai (at Piedmont Avenue Elementary School)

1pm	3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest — Paws on Piedmont Avenue
11am to 5pm	Carved Pumpkin Contest — sponsored by Oaklandish — Piedmont and Pleasant Valley Road
8am to 8pm	Pumpkin Patch and Pretty Scary Haunted House at J Miller's Flowers and Gifts — proceeds from the Pretty Scary Haunted House benefit Kids Take the Stage, a non-profit children’s theater group
Noon to 3:30pm	Mountain View Cemetery's annual FREE Pumpkin Patch Meadow — it’s the greatest! —
